Michael Newmuis
Philadelphia 2026 Director
Michael Newmuis is leading the City of Philadelphia’s preparations for the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026, coordinating this work as 2026 Director in the Mayor’s Office in the birthplace of American democracy.
As the nation’s first World Heritage City, Philadelphia is set to welcome millions of visitors for this historic milestone, hosting an extraordinary lineup of events, including the 250th anniversaries of the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps, groundbreaking exhibitions, citywide festivals, and global spectacles such as the FIFA World Cup, MLB All-Star Weekend, NCAA March Madness, and PGA Tour.
With a career spanning the public, private, and nonprofit sectors, Michael is committed to driving economic growth, empowering communities, and fostering unity through shared experiences.
As the former Head of Impact at FS Investments and Executive Director of the FS Foundation, Michael led civic and philanthropic initiatives for a $100 billion asset management firm, championing programs that expanded access to higher education, financial literacy, and community empowerment. During his tenure at Visit Philadelphia, his team boosted the local economy and elevated the city’s global profile by supporting major events such as the 2015 World Meeting of Families with Pope Francis, the 2016 Democratic National Convention, and the 2017 NFL Draft.
Michael’s civic contributions include serving as Chair of the Advisory Board for City & State PA, Honorary Co-chair of Philadelphia250, and a board member of the Dr. Magnus Hirschfeld Fund. He is also an active youth mentor through the KB Foundation.
An alumnus of the University of Pennsylvania, Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in Cognitive Science with a focus on Computation and Cognition. His has earned recognition as Philadelphia Business Journal’s “Power 100” and "40 Under 40," and Philadelphia Magazine’s 150 most influential leaders.
Kathryn Ott Lovell
President & CEO, Philadelphia Visitor Center
Kathryn Ott Lovell is President and CEO of the Philadelphia Visitor Center, which welcomed over 1.4 million visitors last year. Since joining the Visitor Center in July 2023, Lovell has introduced global brands like TKTS and The Sly Stallone Shop to Philadelphia’s visitor centers; welcomed ArtStar, a locally and women-owned and operated retail space featuring crafts and souvenirs from Philly-based artists and makers; and opened the Liberty Garden, a seasonal food and beverage concession in the Park. Lovell has also convened the Historic District Partners, a coalition of more than thirty historical and cultural institutions, to work together to increase visitation and resources to Independence National Historic Park and America’s most historic square mile.
A civic leader and steadfast supporter of Philadelphia, Lovell served as Commissioner of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation from 2016-2023. As PPR commissioner, Lovell instituted the department’s first strategic plan, which established a renewed vision and set in motion a powerful trajectory toward an equitable and exceptional parks and recreation system that connects people to each other, enriching experiences, and the natural world. She has led innovative initiatives to activate Philly’s parks and engage residents and visitors city-wide including Enhanced PlayStreets, Swim Philly, The Oval+, Parks on Tap and the Philadelphia International Unity Cup soccer tournament. Ott Lovell has also spearheaded ambitious park projects including the transformation of FDR Park and the reimagining of the Benjamin Franklin Parkway.
Prior to joining Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, Lovell served as executive director of the Fairmount Park Conservancy, where she elevated the organization’s profile and ushered in a dramatic shift in its strategic vision, building a host of new programs, executing high-profile projects, and securing funding from an array of local and national funders. She also served as chief advancement officer for Mural Arts Philadelphia for six years, during a time of significant growth and programmatic shifts for the organization.
Gregg Caren
President & CEO, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau
Gregg Caren is the president and CEO of the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau (PHLCVB) where he oversees the organization’s efforts to promote and sell Philadelphia as a premier destination for meetings, conventions, sporting events and international travelers. He serves on the board of directors for the Philadelphia Visitor Center Corporation (PVCC), Professional Convention Management Association (PCMA) and United States Travel Association (USTA).
Previously, he served as the executive vice president, sales and strategic business development for ASM Global (formerly SMG), operator of over 350 venues worldwide, including the Pennsylvania Convention Center. He served in numerous senior leadership roles over his 22 years with the company, building and overseeing a portfolio of more than 90 convention and exhibition centers. Caren began his career with Marriott Hotels and Resorts and has also held leadership positions with convention and entertainment venues in Atlantic City, NJ and Valley Forge, PA. He is an alumnus of The Pennsylvania State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management.

Andrea Edrei: Operating Partner, SERHANT
Andrea Desy Edrei founded Serhant.PA in March of 2023 with the celebrity realtor, Ryan Serhant (Million Dollar Listing NY, Sell it like Serhant). She is a highly successful real estate professional with extensive experience in representing buyers and sellers of luxury properties. With a career spanning over two decades, Andrea has established herself as one of the top 10 realtors in the Philadelphia area. She is a licensed real estate agent in NY, NJ, and PA. Andrea's expertise in the real estate industry started at an early age. She was born into a family of real estate professionals and has been licensed since the age of 18. Andrea has represented a varied clientele, including international clients, Forbes List clients, developers, investors, professional athletes, celebrities, and Fortune 50, 100 & 500 CEOs. Andrea has a passion for travel and has traveled extensively to preview properties for her clients. She has earned the highest sales honors given to only the top Realtors each year with the highest sales volume and is in the top 1/2% of Realtors nationwide. Originally from Suburban Detroit, Andrea attended the prestigious New York University with an Academic & Athletic Scholarship for Basketball & Volleyball, was a key member of the 1997 NYU Women’s National Championship basketball team, and graduated with Honors. She also studied at the University College of London.
Jennifer Tintenfass: Partner, Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld
Jennifer Ilana Tintenfass is a Partner in the Real Estate Group at Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld, resident in its Philadelphia office. She focuses her practice on representing lenders and developers in the full-spectrum of real estate transactions, including real estate secured financings, term and construction loans, acquisitions, dispositions, joint venture development, and due diligence analysis. With respect to lending work, Jennifer represents borrowers and lenders in connection with acquisition, construction, bridge/mezzanine, permanent, and affordable housing financings.
Jennifer has been recognized as a “Rising Star” by Pennsylvania Super Lawyers Magazine since 2016 and was previously named a Philadelphia Business Journal Real Estate Dealmaker “Rising Star.” As an emerging leader in the firm, she serves as Marketing Committee Co-chair driving strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing firmwide business development and marketing activities. Outside the firm, Jennifer serves on the Chairman's Council for the Mann Center for the Performing Arts, the Board of Directors for Federation Housing Inc. and as a Real Estate Subcommittee Member on the Regulatory Reform Commission for Philadelphia City Council.
Jennifer received her J.D., cum laude with distinction, from Loyola University New Orleans College of Law and her B.A., cum laude, from the University of Pennsylvania.
Lea Oxenhandler Litvin: Architect & Principal, Lo Design
Lea Litvin is a licensed Architect, LEED accredited professional, and co-founder and Principal of WBE-certified Philadelphia-based architecture and interior design practice, Lo Design. Her experience ranges from residential and commercial work to campus-scale institutional and government projects. Through her work leading LO Design, Lea has helped countless clients bring detailed, technical and design-forward residential and commercial projects to completion. She currently serves on the board of the Community Design Collaborative and previously was an Enterprise Rose Architectural Fellow in West Philadelphia.

JBN Game Changers
On April 10th, JBN hosted JBN Game Changers at the luxury sneaker store, Lapstone & Hammer. We networked and heard from two top Philadelphia sports journalists and authors: Mike Sielski and Zach Berman.

JBN x Philly Youth Basketball
On March 6th, JBN visited Philly Youth Basketball at their new Alan Horwitz "Sixth Man" Center for a networking happy hour. We heard from PYB CEO & President, Kenny Holdsman, and toured the incredible facility.

Real Estate Spotlight
On February 20th, JBN hosted a real estate spotlight at the Post Brothers new building: One Thousand One. Matt Pestronk, Post Brothers President, joined us for remarks and networking.

City Hall Networking Lunch
For JBN's first event of 2025 we headed to City Hall for a networking lunch. Willie Singletary, Deputy Director of Community Partnerships at the Mayor's Office delivered an energetic and inspiring speech about the work Mayor Cherelle Parker is doing for Philadelphia and how the JBN is a huge asset by creating more economic opportunities for the City.

Holiday Happy Hour
For our final event in 2024, JBN hosted our Holiday Happy Hour at Midnight and the Wicked. Not only was the venue beautiful, but this was our highest attended event of the year surpassing 150 attendees!

Israel Tech Panel
On November 14th, JBN hosted an Israel Tech Panel with panelists Neil Cooper (Partner, Royer Cooper Cohen Braunfeld), Tiffany Wilson (President & CEO, University City Science Center), and Audrey Greenberg (Founder, Center for Breakthrough Medicines).

The Rise of Antisemitism Post October 7th
On October 10th, JBN hosted "The Rise of Antisemitism Post October 7th" with Jonathan S. Tobin (Editor in Chief, JNS.org) at The Weitzman National Museum of American Jewish History. It was encouraging to come together as a group to support each other during the one year anniversary of the horrific events of October 7th.

On April 3rd, JBN hosted "Looking Ahead to 2026" with Angela Val (CEO & President, Visit Philadelphia) at the Pyramid Club. We discussed all the incredible things coming to Philly in 2026, like the World Cup!

Summer Networking Social
On July 11th, JBN had our most anticipated event of the year, our summer social! For this networking happy hour, we went to the Bellevue Sporting Club and hosted the event on their rooftop.

Home Health Care
On June 6th, JBN hosted a networking event revolving around the homecare industry. We welcomed Geoff Gross and David Baiada, two top healthcare business owners, to speak to the group about the path to success in this industry.
